The short version. Lalalang has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect your personal information, we run no analytics or tracking, and we show no ads. What you learn stays on your device.
None. The app has no login, no user profile, and no server of ours that stores anything about you. We cannot identify you, and we cannot see your progress.
The app saves the following locally, in its own storage, so it can work between launches:
This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to us and it is not shared. Deleting the app erases it permanently.
On first launch the app reads your device language so it can show translations in a language you understand. This is read on the device and is not transmitted.
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. Purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which manages subscription state for us.
Word videos are streamed from Google Cloud Storage. As with loading any file from the internet, the server receives your device's IP address and standard request information in order to deliver the file. We do not receive or store those logs, and no identifier of yours is attached to the request.
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising network, and no third-party tracker. We do not build a profile of you and we do not track you across apps or websites.
This website sets no cookies. It stores nothing in your browser, uses no analytics or tag manager, and there is nothing here to consent to or opt out of. The app is not a browser and uses no cookies either.
Lalalang is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no personal information is collected at all, there is nothing we could hold about a child.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, and delete personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to return or erase. The data on your device is entirely under your control and is removed when you delete the app. For questions about a purchase, contact us and we will help where we can.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how data is handled will be reflected in the app's App Store listing as well.
